A famous rock band Metallica they recently celebrated their latest show by giving back to the community. According to the latest update, the popular band recently donated around GBP 20,000 after their sold out show at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

The BBC reported that the rock band had donated nearly GBP 20,000 to the Cardiff Foodbank charity after their show in the area sold out. The group has its own charity foundation that helps the needy, where and where the donations came from. The money will be used by the charity to support about 9000 meals.Speaking about the donation, the organization’s CEO, Rachel Biggs said, “We had an email saying, ‘This is not a scam, please contact the foundation.’ They said, ‘We’re giving you £20,000.’ It’s a huge amount of money that will make a big difference and replenish our empty shelves. ” Biggs also revealed that it is one of the biggest celebrity donations, which he is very grateful for.He added, “Very good for us [is] it helps raise the profile and what Metallica is doing and bringing their fans together, empowering the community. Once these donations reach our bank account we can order more and restock and know that we will be supported throughout the year by the community.” He added that this year’s running costs will rise to GBP 700,000.Two weeks before the delivery, the organization posted on the Internet about the lack of money and “empty shelves,” and asked people to donate energy food to those in need because they lack basic necessities.
