While in Austin, Texas, the singer sang his famous song on stage, however, he changed his voice a little as a shout out to Ricky Alvarez, one of his old dancers, who was with him from April 2015 to July 2016. His 2018 single originally featured the lyrics “I wrote Ricky’s songs / Now I listen and laugh.”However, for his performance last night on the ‘Forever in the Sun’ tour, the singer changed the lyrics to “He wrote some songs for Ricky / I know he’s still got my back.” The show was held at the Moody Center. Alvarez got excited and shouted after concert videos showed him, dancing and swaying to the singer’s music as he made his way to the concert in the VIP area.This is not the first time he has changed his voice. In a concert a few days earlier, the singer sang, “They wrote Ricky’s songs / And they still slap” instead of the original song.Aside from that, Grande and Alvarez have been dating for a while, and were spotted having lunch in public, as PEOPLE reported.
