Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana trailer has been praised by audiences and celebrities alike, and the latest to join the bandwagon is veteran actor Nitish Bharadwaj. Best known for portraying Lord Krishna in Mahabharat, Bharadwaj praised the film for its scope, visuals, acting and music. He also predicted global recognition for the magnum opus and praised director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra. Taking to social media, Bharadwaj wrote, “100% Oscar for Best Foreign Film. Namit Badhaee. Nitesh Tiwari is Bharat’s next gift to world cinema after Satyajit Rai & Shekhar Kapoor.”He also praised the production direction of the film, adding, “Dozens of awards for Production Design & DOP. Creating amazing moments using VFX & AI. Thanks to the great music maestro. Hans Zimmer for being associated with Indian cinema.”Bharadwaj had a special word for Ranbir Kapoor and Yash, calling them the next generation of sportsmen. “Ranbir is now the same Ranveer like the next two undefeated Dhurandhars. Yash, welcome to world cinema,” he wrote.However, the veteran actor also encouraged Ranbir to realize the responsibility that comes with portraying Lord Ram. Talking about his previous role in Animal, Bharadwaj hopes that the actor will choose films that reflect Indian culture in the future.“So no more Nyama even if you give a gold mine to you. Please don’t dirty your Vaani again. Bharat has enough stories to satisfy your creativity,” he wrote.Bharadwaj also said that he hopes that the audience will embrace Sai Pallavi as Sita and that the film will capture the spirituality of the epic through its music. He added that he wanted to hear Tulsidas’ chaupai accompanied by traditional instruments such as mridangam and chants.Concluding his post, the actor said he wanted to watch Ramayana at least five times as a guide to the years spent making the film.Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The trailer has impressed the viewers with its grand scale, sophisticated VFX and superb music composed by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. While Yash’s horror portrayal of Ravana was seen as one of the biggest talk shows, the makers have kept Sunny Deol’s Hanuman character under wraps, pending the film’s Diwali 2026 release.
