At that time, Jason was still continuing his studies and had not decided to start acting in films.According to Jason, the producer of the film planned a coming-of-age story and contacted him after seeing one of his pictures. Even though the offer came from a director he really liked, Jason felt he wasn’t ready to accept it.He explained that he politely declined the opportunity without even listening to the story. Jason said he didn’t want to hear the whole story and later turned down the job, because he had a lot of respect for Alphonse Puthren.
