National testing agency (State Administration of Taxation) has started the online registration process for the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026. Eligible candidates can now submit their application form through the official website exams.nta.ac.in/aiapget and the last date is 11:50 pm on July 30, 2026.AIAPGET is conducted by NTA on behalf of Ministry of AYUSH, National Council of Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and National Council of Homeopathy (NCH). The entrance exam is held for admission to postgraduate Medical Doctor (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (DM) courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy under All India Quota (AIQ) and National Quota.According to the official schedule, candidates can pay the application fee online before 11:59 pm on July 30, 2026. The application correction window will remain open from August 1 to August 2, 2026.The AIAPGET 2026 exam will be held on August 22, 2026 (Saturday) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam consists of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for a total of 480 marks and lasts for 120 minutes. The exam will be held in about 122 cities across the country.Depending on the course, the exam papers will be available in different languages. Ayurveda will be available in Hindi and English, Homeopathy in English only, Siddha in Tamil and English and Unani in Urdu and English.The NTA has introduced several measures to strengthen the vetting process. Candidates are encouraged to complete Aadhaar based identity verification while filling up the application form. In addition to a passport-size photo, they must also upload an on-site photo during registration. Candidates applying under the Persons with Disability Benchmark (PwBD) category using Unique Disability ID (UDID) should upload the required details during the application process.The agency advises candidates to submit only one application form as multiple applications will result in rejection. Applicants should also ensure that uploaded photos, on-site photos and signatures meet the required specifications. They are advised to keep their registered email ID and mobile number active throughout the admission process and complete their application well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.The advance city notification and admission ticket issuance date will be announced on the official website later.
