Teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scripted history on Saturday, becoming the youngest player to represent India in men’s T20Is during the second T20I against England at Old Trafford, Manchester.The 15-year-old surpassed the previous record held by Sachin Tendulkar to mark a memorable milestone in Indian cricket. While his stay at the crease was brief, Sooryavanshi gave fans a glimpse of his fearless batting with a quick 14 off just 10 deliveries.Opening the innings alongside Abhishek Sharma after India elected to bat first, the youngster announced himself in spectacular fashion. His first international boundary over the ropes came against English speedster and Rajasthan Royals teammate Jofra Archer. Stepping away to create room, Sooryavanshi got under a short delivery and lofted it cleanly over the keeper for a stunning six.He added another maximum later, bowling Josh Tongue deep over midwicket with a powerful slog, underscoring the aggressive intent that has made him one of India’s brightest youngsters.However, England struck in the fifth over.
