The timetable covers the commencement of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses, semester breaks, practical examinations, theory examinations and holidays.According to the academic calendar, odd-numbered semesters (first, third, fifth and seventh semesters) will start on July 28, 2026.The school has arranged the autumn break from October 18 to October 25, 2026. After the autumn break, normal classes will resume on October 26. Holidays take place in the middle of the semester, before students enter the examination period.
Practical exams and preparation leave from November 20
As the semester draws to a close, preparation, school breaks and practical exams will begin on 20 November 2026.During this period, students can prepare for final exams, while departments conduct practical assessments as needed.
Theory exam will start on December 4th
The final theoretical examination for odd semesters will begin on December 4, 2026. The academic calendar also lists the schedule for even-numbered semesters – Term 2, Term 4, Term 6 and Term 8. Courses for these semesters will begin on January 1, 2027. CSAS UG and PG admissions are ongoing
The release of the academic calendar comes as the university continues its admissions process for the 2026-27 academic year.The CSAS UG registration portal opened on June 26 and is currently accepting applications for undergraduate admissions.At the same time, graduate student recruitment is also in progress. Candidates who are unable to register for CSAS PG 2026 in advance can still participate in the counseling process through the mid-term admission option by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000. The university has set July 4, 2026 as the last date to apply for the mid-term admissions window.
