In a recent episode of his ‘IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson’ podcast, Obama called out What Ferrell to talk to him and shared a few moments of exposure with him. Not only that, but when the topic of conversation came up about his favorite movies, Obama had a surprising response.He said in his podcast podcast on his Instagram: “When I tell people that Elf is my favorite movie of all time, I’m not kidding! So for this week’s @imopodcasts, I was very happy to sit down with Buddy the Elf himself, the one and only Will Ferrell.” Further, he talked about ‘Elf’ and added that it is “my favorite movie in the world, the only movie I watch over and over again.“Wandale also admitted that it is one of the movies that make him happy, even though he doesn’t like watching movies over and over again. He concluded, “So every time I want to feel good — no, really — and then I get other people to watch with me so I can say, ‘Wait, this is coming.’As for Ferrell, he was happy to hear this, and later confirmed his participation. The actor revealed that ‘Elf’ was one of the reasons he left “Saturday Night Live”. Elaborating on the matter, he added, “I left, I was there for seven years and you know, always, you know you have to leave at some point, and it just felt like I had enough energy, but it’s not like I had a lot of records waiting for me.“He said that a lot of work went into the film but it turned out very well. “It was an amazing idea, but it needed a lot of work. And so we kind of rewrote the whole thing, but it’s a fun thing to have… I didn’t know we were like lightning in a bottle, but we did.”
