About John Farnham
In a report by The Herald Sun from May this year, Farnham confirmed that after recovering from oral cancer, it is no longer possible for him to sing. The actress revealed that she will not act again, and is now focusing on her health. “We can rule this out, because of the surgeries on my mouth and face in the last few years, singing on stage is not something I would even consider.” The singer retired from music in 2022, after being diagnosed with cancer, and has been away from the public since then.Besides, a tribute concert is also planned for the Australian singer in the coming months. Artists such as Celine Dion, Hugh Jackman, Richard Marx, Jimmy Barnes and Keith Urban, along with many others, will participate in the event and honor the singer. The concert is titled ‘The Music of John Farnham: A Living Legend.’ Proceeds from the concert will be donated to Head and Neck Cancer Australia, the same organization that helped Farnham with her cancer battle.
