ICC T20I rankings: Abhishek Sharma's year-long reign as world No.1 comes to an end

He also finished as India’s second highest run scorer, behind Sanju Samson, at the tournament.After Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan has now joined an elite club along with Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav, becoming only the fourth Indian batsman to reach the No. 1 spot in the ICC Men’s T20I batsmen rankings.

In 47 innings, he scored 1,341 runs at an average of 29.15 and a strike rate of 146.87. His record includes one century and 10 fifties, with a highest T20I score of 103.
