An apology to the people of Faisal Khan
In a candid interview with Ujjwal Trivedi, Faisal Khan admitted his wrongdoings for the first time since his relationship with Aamir Khan ended. He revealed that he apologized to his mother, brother Aamir, sister Nikhat and brother-in-law Santosh Hegde for the reasons he had publicly expressed.He said, “I want to apologize to my mother first, I want to apologize to Nikhat, I want to apologize to Santosh. My apologies again to Aamir. In anger and pain, I said many things that I should not have said.”Faisal also admitted that criticizing his family in public was one of his biggest mistakes, adding that such matters should be resolved privately and not in front of the media.Faisal said that he no longer wanted to prove who was right or wrong. Instead, he said that he values peace and unity with his family more than proving the truth. He credited reading the Quran for encouraging him to reconnect with his loved ones and for reinforcing the importance of family ties.
Change and reconciliation
Recalling the turning point, Faissal Khan said he realized he had become estranged from his family and decided to take steps to reconnect. When he called his sister Nikhat, she answered immediately. Then he heard that his mother missed him, and this affected him so much that the next day he took a flight to Mumbai to meet his relatives.Faisal revealed that he apologized to his mother in person and later met Aamir Khan to apologize for making the family affair public. According to him, after many years of misunderstanding, his family welcomed him back with love, resolving long-standing grievances. He added that he now believes that his family believes in him and understands him moving forward, saying that life is too short to hold on to past conflicts.
