Eligibility criteria
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be an Indian citizen.
- Male, female and third gender candidates are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
- Educational qualifications and age are calculated as of August 1, 2025.

- General (male): 20 to 37 years old
- General (female): 20 to 40 years old
- Backward Classes (BC) and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC): 20 to 40 years old
- Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Third Gender: 20 to 42 years old
As per government regulations, age relaxation has been granted for government employees and ex-servicemen in Bihar.

The application fee is Rs 100 for male, female and third gender candidates in all categories. Bank transaction fees (if applicable) must be paid separately.
