‘Welcome To The Jungle’ saw an expected decline at the box office on its first Monday after a strong opening weekend.According to early estimates, the comedy will play out Akshay Kumar lead, saw a huge drop in its collections on Monday, but still managed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in four days.Sacnilk report says that the entertainer collected Rs 8.50 crore nett in India on Day 4 from 10,922 shows. With this, the film registered a drop of 65.7 percent from its Sunday collection.The film debuted with its performances and got off to a strong start, earning Rs 3.75 crore from pay-per-views before taking home Rs 15.25 crore on its opening Friday. It continued to climb over the weekend, earning Rs 20 crore on Saturday and peaking at Rs 24 crore on Sunday.Although the commercial expectations made the film the first to be collected on Monday across two categories, the film failed to reach that level, earning Rs 8.50 crore. With this, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ collected Rs 72.25 crore in India in four days. Its total collection, on the other hand, stands at Rs 86.53 crore.The film has also been successful abroad. It collected a total of Rs 3 crores on Day 4, taking its overseas total to Rs 19.95 crore.The worldwide box office collection, now stands at around Rs 106.48 crore after four days.Despite the huge drop on Monday, the film is still on track to achieve a total of Rs 90-100 crore by the end of its first weekend, provided it can continue to run for the rest of the working week. The film is currently facing competition from the Hindi release ‘Cocktail’.The film will face additional competition this week with the release of the Hollywood comedy, ‘Minions & Monsters’ which is slated to hit theaters across India on July 2, 2026. The film will face additional competition with the release of the star-studded spy film ‘Alpha’.
