The Indian film fraternity came together to bid farewell to the veteran cinematographer, actor, writer, and producer. K. Bhagyaraj who died at the age of 73 after suffering from a heart attack. The famous artist passed away at Apollo Hospital.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay visited Bhagyaraj’s residence to pay his last respects. Earlier, the Chief Minister’s office had announced that the veteran actor would receive state honors at his funeral in recognition of his achievements in Tamil cinema.Kerala CM VD Satheesan also mourned the death of Bhagyaraj. He said, “I am deeply saddened by the death of Tamil veteran, director, and cinematographer K. Bhagyaraj. Honored as the ‘Screenplay King,’ he also defined storytelling in Tamil cinema with his unique creative vision and unforgettable performances.
