Imtiaz Ali‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ has been a success at the box office, with strong word of mouth helping it overcome a slow start and building momentum in the first two weeks at the theatres, crossing Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office. The film has now entered its third week in theaters.

The love story set during the partition era opened to critical acclaim but struggled to convert much at the ticket windows in its opening week, earning Rs 12.25 crore in its first seven days. The second week, however, told a very different story, as the audience turned up in droves following the powerful sound of the song.On the 15th day, a Diljit Dosanjh Starrer rose by 21.2% over the previous day’s gain. According to Sacnilk report, the film collected Rs 2.85 crore from 1,952 shows. The all India collection has now reached Rs 37.65 crore, while the all India collection has reached Rs 44.85 crore.
‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ gathering abroad and worldwide
On the international front, the film added Rs 25 lakh on Day 15, pushing its total overseas collection to Rs 13.80 crore. Combined with the domestic figures, the international collection of Main Vaapas Aaunga is now Rs 58.65 crore.
