The Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) has announced the JEECUP round 4 seat allotment results 2026 for the counseling process for polytechnics in Uttar Pradesh (UP). The fourth round of seat allocation marks the beginning of the second phase of the special online consultation process. Students from Uttar Pradesh and other states who did not get seats in the previous rounds are also eligible for this phase, subject to counseling rules. More than 400,000 candidates appeared for the JEECUP 2026 computer-based examination held from June 2 to 9. The board announced the grade card on June 19 and completed the evaluation process within 10 days of the exam.
What to do after assigning seats?
Candidates who have secured a seat in Round 4 can choose the ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ option between July 31 and August 3 (before 5 pm). After selecting the option, candidates will have to pay a seating fee of Rs 3,000 and go to the designated help center for document verification. After successful completion of the verification process, candidates can confirm the allotted colleges and courses based on merit and seat availability.
