The much-awaited trailer of ‘Ramayana: The Introduction – Part One’ has been unveiled, creating a buzz on social media. While fans continue to argue over the visuals, acting and casting choices, the director of the film Mukesh Chhabra has written a touching message to celebrate the occasion. Describing Ramayana as one of the most unique projects of his career, Chhabra revealed that he and his team dedicated seven years to bring the epic and said that he is eager for the audience to see the magic on the big screen.

As soon as the trailer dropped online, Mukesh Chhabra took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his gratitude and happiness. The actor’s manager revealed that working on ‘Ramayana’ has been exciting for several years.He wrote, “Ramayana and its release is very close to my heart and my entire team. We have dedicated seven years of our lives to this amazing journey. (sic) “The music director’s post quickly caught on with fans, many of whom appreciated the effort put into making one of the most exciting actors in Indian cinema.Mukesh Chhabra also thanked the director Nitesh Tiwari and producer Namit Malhotra by trusting him with the major responsibility of making the epic.Expressing his gratitude, Chhabra wrote: “Thank you Nitesh Bhai and Namit Malhotra for your trust, faith, and unwavering support. I can’t wait for you all to experience the magic we have created in the world of Ramayana. Please show us your love, blessings, and prayers.”The casting director also acknowledged his entire cast, praising them for their dedication during the long pre-production period.

The trailer gave the audience their first look Ranbir Kapoor like Lord Rama, Yash if Ravana is Sai Pallavi as the goddess Sita, she marks the beginning of Rama’s banishment and sets the stage for the great conflict.While many viewers praised the film for its cinematic dimension, others shared mixed feelings on social media. Some questioned Yash’s Hindi voice, saying he lacked the power expected of Ravana, while others argued against Sai Pallavi’s casting as Sita. Several fans also wondered why Sunny Deol’s Hanuman was not seen prominently in the trailer, suggesting that the makers might have saved some crucial moments for the film’s release.

‘Ramayana’ release date

‘Ramayana’ is being released as a two-part theatrical event. ‘Ramayana: The Introduction – Part One’ is expected to hit the theaters in Diwali 2026, while Part Two is expected to be released in Diwali 2027. With the help of producer Namit Malhotra, the film is positioned as one of the greatest Indian films ever shown, combining the story and the best visuals for people around the world.
