‘Rao Bahadur’ is officially set to stream online on Netflix. The OTT giant took to its X handle to reveal that the film will be available to watch online from July 31, 2026 onwards.Sharing the update, the platform wrote, “Samajika nibandhanalatho mee burrani kadagadaniki Rao Bahadur osthunnadu!” (Rao Bahadur has come to explore your mind without the rules of society!)Apart from Telugu, ‘Rao Bahadur’ will also be available in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, which will allow the multi-lingual audience to watch the movie at home.
About ‘Rao Bahadur’
Talking about the film, ‘Rao Bahadur’ tells the story of a terminally ill nobleman who lives in his ancestral home, Bhuvanalayam. He spends his last days trying to prove that his youngest son, Kusuma, was not his own. His wife Renuka is lonely after Kusuma’s death, while their eldest daughter Lavana tries to keep the family together.As the film progresses, the visuals show how Ramappa’s obsession with protecting his family’s blood gradually destroyed his family. They secretly exhumed Kusuma’s remains for DNA testing. The results confirm that Kusuma was his biological son. The story contains some surprising revelations as the film progresses.
