The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has revised the examination timings for the written examination for the post of Civil Constable for Karnataka Cadre Recruitment in Kalyana scheduled to be held on August 2, 2026. The authority announced the change on July 29, 2026, in response to requests from candidates regarding travel between exam centres.According to the revised timetable, the afternoon exam, originally scheduled from 2:30 to 4:00 pm, will now be held from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Exam patternThe written test consists of 100 questions and is worth a total of 100 marks. The paper will cover General Knowledge, General Science, Geography, History, Indian Constitution, Indian National Movement, Mind, General Knowledge and Moral Education.KEA advises candidates to note the revised reporting times and make travel arrangements accordingly. The authority also clarified that the remaining terms of the recruitment notification issued on June 5, 2026 remain unchanged.Candidates are advised to visit the KEA official website regularly for further announcements regarding the recruitment process or examination arrangements.
