However, the Prince of Wales asked his brother not to rush the wedding, as joining the royal family comes with many responsibilities. Speaking to the Mirror, Marlene Koenig agreed with Prince William’s wise advice on the matter of permanent vows. “William was right to advise Harry to take his time and not rush into marriage. The couple learned important lessons from the failed marriages (Charles & Diana and Andrew & Sarah) Neither couple knew each other well before marriage. There is no real relationship,” he said.“Edward and Sophie and William and Catherine lived together before they got married. That time allowed the women to learn how to live as a royal.
