“I led Meg down the path, around the fence, through the labyrinth. There it was, coming: a sparkling white stone around. No journey to this place was easy, but this… Twenty-five years. And Meg’s first time. I was finally bringing the girl of my dreams home to meet my mother,” Harry wrote. He continued: “We hesitated, hugged, and then I went first. I put flowers on the grave. Meg gave me a moment, and I talked to my mother in my head, I told her that I missed her, I asked her to lead me and explain clearly. I feel that Meg may need a moment, I went around the fence, and looked for a pond. When I returned, Meg was on her knees, eyes on the door, palms on the stone. After leaving the cemetery, Harry remembered asking what Meghan had prayed for. “He said clearly. It’s a guide.”

Harry is deeply connected to the Spencer family and Diana’s legacy

Harry has remained close to his Spencer family over the years. The family has maintained its relationship, as it is said that Diana’s sisters, Lady Jane and Lady Sarah McCorquodale, were present at the christening of Princess Lilibet in 2023.Harry and Meghan took Archie and Lilibet to meet King Charles at his Highgrove home during a recent visit to the UK. Althorp is a two-hour drive from Highgrove and the two trips were made within the family’s time in Britain.Having the children there in close proximity to this family home reflects Harry’s role in giving Archie and Lilibet the opportunity to share in their grandfather’s legacy and their grandfather’s memory.
