Reflecting on the next chapter of his career during his appearance on ‘Good Morning America’ on July 20, Tom Holland explained more about his preparations for the Fred Astaire biopic. Holland revealed that she has already returned to the dance studio preparing for the long-awaited project, describing her first rehearsal sessions as something humbling. “I did my first rehearsal recently, and it was all filled with excitement and trepidation because I have a lot of work to do to make Fred proud,” Holland said during the interview.

Holland admitted that he was entering a new stage in his career where he could no longer rely on youthful charm alone. “Now I feel like I’m starting this chapter where I can no longer stop being a teenager,” said the actor. “For me, what I like about my work is the challenge. We have the next Fred Astaire, which we are planning to do. And as soon as I finish with these tours, I will go back to the dance studio,” he added.

Holland also revealed his desire for how the film’s dance numbers will be used on screen. “I wish I didn’t have to use two takes, all the dances, shoot their dances in one shot, the way they would have done it,” he said.
