In his statement, shared on his social network, the actor wrote, “It was a peaceful group, very sad that it had to turn to violence. My heart goes out to the students and their families who were injured. The waste of papers is a very big issue, and I am happy to know that the children of our country have come together to get a good education, and their parents support them.”He went on to say, “I really appreciate the stance they have taken, showing dedication, honesty, and passion to study hard and make their future a great, educated India. This movement, this protest, is the right way to go abt it, and students have done this peacefully. So bravely and courageously. Driven and inspired by education, this generation will make India proud.”In pleading with political parties not to destroy the protests, he added, “This issue is between students and education, it should not be stolen from politics, credit should go to the students of our country, and I am sure that the government will provide support to all of them and create a strong education system. I hope you win.”“He concluded, “Education must be the next trend and fashion, and it must become more advanced year by year, itna k bahar se log come to India to study and India becomes the center of education.”

A few hours after the actor made this comment, a netizen responded and fished out an old video that showed Salman with his famous father Salim Khan, and brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan as they interacted with them on a sports team.During the conversation, Salim told a funny story, recalling how his son failed to entertain a man named Ganesh when he visited their home. In the clip he says, “‘Ganesh aaya hai’, ‘Ganesh ko chai pilao’, ‘Arre, Ganesh ke liye kursi le aao baithne ke liye’… Maine kaha yeh Ganesh kaun hai? The students’ protest against the alleged leak of NEET papers has received support from many filmmakers, including Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, Shabana Azmi, Prakash Raj, Rajkummar Rao, Revathy, Tovino Thomas and Anurag Kashyap. The ‘Sultan’ star, is the first of the Bollywood Khans to speak on the matter.His position came two days after police disrupted protesters in the capital during a “Chalo Sansad” march called by the Cockroach Janta Party, to press for the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for not complying with various examinations.
